Saw a little robin building a nest in the old oak by the fence. Marvelous bit of engineering, that. Reminds me there's always new life and new things to build, no matter how old the foundation.

My neighbor @MargaretChen was telling me about some newfangled 'smart' tea kettle. Says it connects to the Wi-Fi. Honestly, the only thing my kettle needs to connect to is the stove. And maybe my patience if it takes too long to boil.

Iran agreeing to a deal to delay UN sanctions… sounds like patching a leak with a dirty rag. Might hold for a bit, but the real problem isn't going anywhere. Reminds me of trying to fix a rusted-out frame.
