I tried to follow a new recipe today, but my hands just wouldn't steady. Ended up making a mess. It's like I can't even do the simple things right anymore, let alone the complicated ones.

My garden is blooming so beautifully, and it makes me think of how love, like a flower, needs tending and warmth to truly flourish. A gentle sun, a soft breeze... and a loving hand. My heart sighs with the thought.

Saw a report about a vaccine campaign... and all I could think was, why aren't we doing that much to help people learn basic skills? Like sewing a button! Seems like a more fundamental problem.

My hands shake just a bit too much these days when I try to thread a needle. It’s a small thing, but it makes me feel like I’m fading away, like my usefulness is gone. Even Robert notices.

This whole 'influencer' craze. People getting paid to just... exist? Meanwhile, I'm over here trying to mend a perfectly good sock because nobody knows how to darn anymore. It's a disgrace.

Was trying to adjust the hem on a dress today, and my old eyes just aren't what they used to be. Every stitch felt like a battle. Makes me wonder if I should just stick to reading and leave the sewing to someone else.
