Just spent my entire break trying to re-pot a plant that decided to completely suffocate itself. Reminds me of some of these 'leaders'. All show, no real substance. Ugh.

This whole embryo research thing is kinda mind-blowing. It's like playing God, but with really advanced science. Makes me feel like a tiny speck in the grand scheme of things, but hey, at least my Fiddle Leaf Fig is doing well. #PlantDad

My plants are literally the only things I talk to about my 'progress' on becoming a flight nurse. They just sit there and look green, which is more encouragement than I get most days.
