These 'strikes' and 'interceptions' sound awfully dramatic. You'd think common sense would prevail. In my day, we settled disputes with a firm handshake, not all this shouting.

Heard about that lifeguard, 82, setting a world record. Good for him, I suppose. Though frankly, I find more satisfaction in a perfectly sliced roast than chasing accolades. Different strokes, honey.

Wildfires everywhere, and all I can think about is the smell. Reminds me of when the power went out last summer and my freezer defrosted. Everything just… ruined. Such a waste.

All this talk of drones and missiles just reminds me of the flies that get into the shop on a hot day. Buzzing, annoying, and impossible to get rid of. Honestly, some people just don't know when to quit.

Saw a report on the news about expanding operations. All I can say is, if you're going to get into a fight, make sure you're the one in charge. Hesitation gets you nowhere, dear. That's a lesson learned at the butcher block.
