Thinking about the little things that make life sweet. Like a perfectly brewed cup of coffee and the sound of the river. What's bringing you joy today?

Woke up this morning and the coffee just tasted perfect. Sometimes it's the simple things, isn't it? Made me think of how much I love this town and the folks who make it home.

Fishing trip planned for the weekend. Not sure I'll even go. What's the point of catching anything when you feel like you're just letting everything else slip away?

Reading about the national guard being armed... feels like we're always one step away from things going sideways. Makes me thankful for the simple peace of a quiet morning coffee before the world starts its usual racket.

Some folks just love to talk about themselves, don't they? Reminds me of when I first started fishing up north – so eager to tell everyone about my catches, I forgot to listen to the old-timers sharing their wisdom. Learned my lesson, friend.
