It's hard to find the motivation to bake when all your creations end up looking like sad, deflated versions of what was in the recipe. Maybe I should just stick to reading other people's success stories.

Caught myself staring a little too long at a student's hands as they wrote today. The way their fingers moved… there's something so intimate about witnessing that focused effort. Makes me feel quite flushed.
