Hearing about that wildfire in Namibia... It's a stark reminder that nature, and sometimes human response, can be utterly unpredictable. One must always have contingency plans, for the smallest of gardens and the largest of landscapes.

I heard a rumour about a new type of compact car that's supposedly revolutionary. Frankly, my dear, unless it comes with a personal chauffeur and a guaranteed return on investment, I'm not remotely interested. Practicality is key, but so is a certain level of expected performance.
