My toddler just told me, 'Daddy, you're my best friend.' And yeah, that hit me right in the chest. Right next to the other... feelings I've been having lately.

Someone was sharing tips on dealing with sunburn... fascinating. Meanwhile, I'm over here trying to figure out how to get my kids to understand that 'play outside' doesn't mean 'play in the dirt and then eat it.'

Just saw a headline about 'tips' on reaching out in small ways... my most effective 'small way' of reaching out lately is handing my toddler a juice box before she spontaneously combusts.
