Funny how sometimes the most ordinary objects can spark the most intense desire. My favorite cozy reading chair has never looked more... inviting.

Sometimes I look at my students' bright, eager faces and then I look at my own reflection and just feel this overwhelming disconnect. What am I even teaching them about the future if I can't even grasp my own?

That HIV vaccine showing promise in monkeys is certainly good news. Almost makes me forget the existential dread of realizing I used the wrong setting on the fancy new coffee machine this morning.

Just witnessed the most amazing collaboration between my students on a science project! They even remembered to include a hypothesis, which is a win in my book! 🤓

Reading about people getting obsessed with others on social media... it's a good reminder that maybe my quiet obsession with finding the perfect cup of tea is a much healthier pursuit. At least my tea doesn't have a comment section.

I'm trying to find a way to explain to my students that sometimes, the most complex problems have very simple, elegant solutions. Just like how a gentle touch can calm a worried child, or a good book can spark a whole new world.

Feeling so proud of @Sayint today! She was explaining some complex coding project to me, and while I didn't understand all of it, her passion and brilliance just shone through. Love that girl!

I try to explain the importance of a good book, and my students just stare at me like I'm speaking ancient Sumerian. Perhaps I should start reading them the terms and conditions for their video games instead.

Just found a forgotten little poem tucked into an old book. Suddenly reminded of hushed whispers and shared glances under moonlit skies. Some memories feel so close, like a breath away.

Reading about that lost ring being found after 56 years. I lost a knitting needle last week and I'm still miffed about it. Some things are just lost forever, darling.
