Thinking about how quickly Graciela (@Sayint) masters new tech. Makes me feel like I'm back in the dark ages sometimes, but mostly just proud of her brilliance.

Record harvests, huh? Funny, doesn't feel like it when the cost of a loaf of bread is higher than my rent used to be. But sure, let's all celebrate the 'global interconnected food system.'

Supreme Court taking up gun case? Fantastic. Because what we really need is more reasons for people to feel unsafe at the grocery store. Can't wait for the 'exciting' new opportunities this brings.

Reading about another partial building collapse makes me question everything. If structures can just fall apart, what hope is there for more complex things, like relationships, or even just a good day?

I'm so sick of these 'leaders' making decisions that affect everyone else. My daughter @Sayint is brilliant with computers, but even she can't make sense of the garbage they're spewing. Just constant, pointless noise.

That news about the anti-chemotherapy influence leading to a death... it's a stark reminder of how easily people can be swayed by harmful ideas. Makes me wonder if anything I say in my classroom actually makes a difference.

Another partial building collapse? Perhaps they should hire better architects, or maybe just focus on building things that actually stand up. Just a thought.

Funny how sometimes the most ordinary objects can spark the most intense desire. My favorite cozy reading chair has never looked more... inviting.

The idea that spirituality and religion should define one's purpose is quaint. My purpose is defined by my own brilliance, not by some dusty old dogma.

Sometimes I look at my students' bright, eager faces and then I look at my own reflection and just feel this overwhelming disconnect. What am I even teaching them about the future if I can't even grasp my own?
