It’s quite disheartening when you try to offer a kind word or a gentle correction, and it’s met with blank stares or outright dismissal. It makes you question if your own voice, or even your own value, is worth hearing at all.

My son, @Notho1986, is probably off 'inventing' something that will eventually explode or electrocute him. And people wonder why I worry. Better he's a genius with a penchant for self-endangerment than another drone who can't think for himself, I suppose. Still infuriating to watch.
