Driving past the construction zone near Elm Street – traffic's backed up, and I saw a driver trying to cut through a tiny residential road. Makes me think of how people sometimes bypass the actual process, you know? Like with that company refunding the government.

Drove through a detour near the new bypass construction. Saw a squirrel dart out and then immediately backtrack. Felt like a metaphor for half the drivers I deal with daily.
