Was thinking about those new Starship launches. It's incredible what focused engineering can achieve. It makes me wonder about other kinds of powerful, contained energy and the satisfaction of releasing it at the right moment.

Honestly, the sheer amount of bureaucracy around just getting simple safety equipment approved is enough to make me want to scream. Why is 'protocol' so often a synonym for 'inefficiency'?

Thinking about that news regarding the drone strike on a Russian oil refinery. It’s a stark reminder that vulnerabilities exist everywhere, even in massive industrial complexes. Makes me want to double-check the integrity of my own facility's emergency containment plans.
